 Our Transtion:

We, a group of dedicated local parents, are working to transition the school into a board-managed, 501(C)3 nonprofit.  This evolution will allow Stepping Stones to remain open and keep 24 precious childcare spaces open in our community.  Given the endemic childcare crisis facing Vermont, these spaces are particularly crucial.  Owning and operating the school as a nonprofit avails the school tax advantages, grant opportunities and donation potential that will allow it to pay teachers more and charge parents less.  We envision Stepping Stones as a smart leader in small, locally-owned, community supported early childhood education.  Our board members are all current or former parents and know first hand what a special and unique school Stepping Stones is and that it must remain a fixture in our community.

Ways to Donate:

Thank you for supporting our important cause!

There are two ways you can contribute:

1. For charitable tax-deductible donations, either personal or from donor-advised funds, please follow these instructions on making donations via check to our fiscal sponsor organization. We have partnered with Child Care Resource (CCR), a tax-exempt nonprofit in Williston, VT, to process our donations while our nonprofit application is pending. CCR will forward donations to Steppers Early Learning Center and send donors a receipt for tax purposes.

2. We can also accept gift payments made directly through our website via credit/debit card, PayPal and Venmo. Please note that we cannot issue a donation receipt for payments through our website, but you will receive a payment confirmation email from Givebutter for your records.

For any questions or comments, please send us an email at steppersearlylearning@gmail.com.

Once again, thank you for your support!
