You Can Help
Direct ContributionsWhile we always welcome monetary donations, we realize it isn’t always easy to give financially. So we also welcome gently used toys your children have outgrown, as well as strollers, pack-and-plays, or most anything child-related. Rocking chairs are popular in our infant rooms and microwaves are a hot item in our kitchens. If you are ready to discard anything that could be of value to us, please ask your Site Director… you just might help all of us. We can coordinate pick-up of large items. • Top •
Current FundraisersOur Fundraisers are Fun Raisers! We really limit the number of fundraisers we do because we know you’ll get to participate in plenty once your kids are in elementary school! Sometimes we’ll find a fun way to raise a few bucks though and give it a try. The best events become traditions. • Top •
RecyclingIt would be ridiculous to put your money out at the curb on garbage night, so please don’t “trash” things we can turn into cash! Check with your Site Director for the nearest Stepping Stones recycling centers where we can turn your trash into our cash. Thank you! • Top •
Join our Board of DirectorsOur bylaws stipulate that the majority of our Board members be the parents of children enrolled in our programs. It’s a great formula for keeping everybody’s children our top priority… but we need parents to make it work. Stepping Stones is an incredibly diverse organization with many business, financial, marketing, and regulatory needs. We also welcome the love, care, and consideration that parents provide. Please contact Suzanne Newpher, Administrative Director, to learn how you might be considered for any future Board openings. • Top •
Time, Time, TimeWe can always use time. Our staff and teachers would welcome a helping hand on updates and improvements to our locations. While we welcome any expertise, experience has shown anybody wearing old clothes and a smile will be a tremendous help. Please ask your Site Director how you can get involved in their next project. • Top •
